PETER DAWE tries to fix problems, to which end he has founded more than sixty different organisations and businesses. He was one of the architects of the global Internet business model, and his company PIPEX was the first commercial Internet provider in the UK. He has also been responsible for laying fibre beneath the North Sea to improve international communications, promoting a new town and conceiving and introducing many novel solutions to Internet misuse, homelessness and drug abuse. More recently, besides devoting his efforts to saving Western liberalism, he continues to prepare for the worst and enjoys himself while he still can.
