   Anyone interested in showbiz will love this book!
   The Gresh has worked with everyone who's anyone over the last few decades, and this book is packed with funny and interesting stories about them all. Also. there are loads of exclusive photos of the stars from Gresh's personal collection.
   
   The book gives a rare insight into the private side of some our best-loved personalities - too many favourites to list here, but I have to mention how much I loved reading about Bill Kenwright's early days, as I saw him on stage last month at a fund raiser in London and he was absolutely brilliant! I hadn't realised he was originally an actor, who appeared in Corrie with the author!
   
   Another personal favourite is Gordon Jackson, a true gentleman it seems and a teetotaller I discovered!
   
   The Gresh comes across as not only an astute business man, but warm and funny, and able to handle any situation which arises!
   This book is a fantastic read and it covers a valuable era of showbiz history, which thanks to The Gresh we can all share. (Posted on 16/11/2009)

2. Should have been out years ago........! Review by Charlie Foster

   I have always been a "celebrity" follower and my autograph book is full with so many soap stars I've met and when I saw this book on sale and flicked through the pages I was in heaven. This Gresham guy sought out a career which brought him in direct contact with the stars I so admired and would have loved to have been able to spend time with...My heros Morecambe & Wise : Larry Grayson and that most beautiful lady from "The Champions" Alexandra Bastedo - I saw her in a play earlier this year and she still looks stunning! How "The Gresh" worked with TV superstars HUGHIE GREEN : FRAZER HINES : VIOLET CARSON and my favourite "Cororation Street" diva PAT PHOENIX..his stories about the real truth when P.J. Proby appeared on "Opportunity Knocks" as The Masked Singer. And how he had all those Celebrities in one day at Woolworth Stores throughout Britain - amazing...He (The Gresh) comes over as a really nice fellow who has made so many show-biz friends, but what's far more important he's sharing his experiences in these pages and bringing to life an era we'll never see again in Show-Biz!
